Energy Markets Show Signs of Stabilising
Following a period of heightened volatility driven by geopolitical events, wholesale energy markets have shown signs of stabilising this week. Both gas and electricity forward prices have reduced over the course of the week, providing some welcome relief after recent market uncertainty.
While global events continue to influence market sentiment, the latest price movements suggest that immediate supply concerns have eased, allowing wholesale prices to fall. Although conditions remain subject to change, the current market presents a more favourable outlook than in recent weeks.
For businesses approaching contract renewal or reviewing their energy procurement strategy, the recent improvement in pricing may provide an opportunity to consider fixed-price options before market conditions shift again.
As always, we recommend keeping a close eye on market developments and seeking advice to help secure the most competitive position for your business.
Have a great weekend!
